October Superheroes

Halloween is one of my absolute favorite holidays....not so much for the excessive candy (particularly now that I have little ones), rather, for all of the seasonal perks this holiday brings: the brilliantly colored fall leaves, the tactile-rich process of pumpkin picking, fall soccer, MLB baseball (particularly when the Cardinals are in the Playoffs), Rocky River's "March with the Band", the crisp, cool, sunny football Saturdays, and last but not least, the opportunity to change your identity for just one day.  This is fun for children and adults alike! Yet, to witness your children embrace their inner Winnie the Pooh, Spiderman, Elmo, or Kermit the Frog, is simply priceless.
