Happy Mother's Day!

In honor of Mother's Day, I wanted to post a link to a cute Huffington Post article, "The Best Mother's Day Gift Ever" by Amber Dusick.  Initially, I was drawn to the hilarious child-like illustration "I go to bath wif you" of the baby attempting to climb into the bathtub with Mommy. Then I read the entire article and could not agree more!  For those Daddies and children out there who are pondering what to get Mommy for Mother's Day, put your billfolds away and read this!  Anyone who has experienced motherhood, in all its 24/7 glory, will appreciate this read.  Above and beyond the most beautiful floral arrangements, pampering spa treatments, sparkling jewelry, or mouth-watering boxes of chocolate, what Mommy really needs is some time and space of her own!  So, get creative and figure out a fun way to present Mommy with a soul-recharging solo experience, whether it be a nudge out the door for a morning run, coffee shop date with her favorite newspaper or book, an afternoon nap, bubble bath, walk through the park . . . there are endless opportunities!  And as a reminder, the icing on the cake (the fact she will love it wholeheartedly) is that this gift is completely FREE!!  Happy Mother's Day to all of you beautiful, caring, giving, self-less, and wonderful Mommies out there!!
