Though perhaps overdone in the decor and fashion worlds as of late, I have always LOVED animal prints, when incorporated into a room or ensemble in a tasteful way. Just a pop of animal print injected into a room with a pillow, hide rug, duvet, or ottoman can lively up a space. I love the way the zebra print can either provide a glamourous/sophisticated feel when paired with contemporary graphic prints (such as Ikats and Greek key), metallic surfaces, and pops of bright colors (think, Mary McDonald pic with orange window panels below), OR provide a cozy/hunting-lodge feel (think Ralph Lauren) when paired with dark woods, Persian rugs, red accents or walls, and leathers...As we are currently reworking our family room, and transforming the space from a very French, feminine feel to a more cozy, masculine Tudor/hunting-lodge feel, I think a zebra ottoman would provide a perfect accent piece.
